Truck mounted attentuators (or crash cushions as they are commonly known in UK) save lives. King offers a range of cushions that have met the latest UK Highway's agency '4th Test'. There are three 110kph models to suit all applications and meeting UK TD49/07 requirements and NCHRP350.

Safestop 90 - By far the biggest selling cushion in the UK market

The UK's most popular crash cushion. This unit is in operation with almost every traffic management contractor in UK. This cushion is fully compliant with the latest TD49/07 regulations which became effective in December 2008. King is the only Company to have complied with the Highway Agency's revised standards when they became effective. Fully installed to ISO 9001-2000 standard.

Traiload MPS350

Simple in concept with lowcost and speedy repair capability after minor shunts, the Traiload MPS350 is constructed to include telescopic shear plate technology and can be offered with either folding or vertical lift lighting arrows and King can offer a full range of body options if required or we'll provide a complete impact protection vehicle - you choose.

Vorteq

The latest fully approved solution for traffic management contractors. Couple up the unit for crash cushion operations then park up the Vorteq when not required and use the vehicle for other operations on site. Vorteq can provide a real opportunity for running a versatile fleet.

Sign Boards

With a variety of technologies now available to use, King's range of signboards includes simple low cost solutions and more complex cost effective packages to solve demands for visual signs.

VSA Signboards

Meeting the Highways Agency Requirement for Impact Protection Vehicles the Traiload VSA is fitted to the rear of the vehice and has an articulating lighting arrow that can be raised and lowered at speeds of up to 40mph.

VL Signboard

The VL signboard has a vertical lifting facility and saves space for more equipment on the vehicle body.

VMS Signboard with 'Red Cross' block vehicle technology

Offering the latest LED technology the VMS board is fitted with coloured LED's which enable the signboard to be used as both a directional (yellow) arrow and a stop cross(red). Much more versatile than dual coloured Xenon lights the VMS board can be programmed with a range of signs which can be used subject to Deptartmental and Highways Agency approval.

Demountable Sign boards

Suitable for a range of car derived and Transit type pick ups the demountable sign board is abaptable to a range of vehicles and not limited to specific models. The sign board complies with the requirements of Chapter 8 and can be used individually or in convoy. The unit carries it's own rechargeable power pack.

LP15 Lighting arrow

Available either as a bolt on unit or as a powered folding model this inexpensive arrow can be either fitted to the rear panel of the vehicle or roof mounted on panel vans.

WeNiPol LED display board

This roof mountable system is especially designed for emergency and roads services It displays any kind of static or dynamic symbol, text or sign (incl. ACPO signs) and is highly legible even during bright daylight with patented technology (no phantom effect) It features automatic adjustment of brightness for day and night, is low power consumption and available in Red/White or Red/Amber. BS & EN 12966 compliant and Highways Agency Approved.
